' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING USER FEES FOR EMERGENCY AMBULANCE
SERVICES; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILTY
CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Code of Ordinances of the City of Allen authorizes the City Council to establish fees for
Emergency Ambulance Services, by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TI RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The fees for emergency ambulance service provided by the City of Allen Fire Department shall
be Tbree-Hundred-Thirty Dollars ($330) per patient per call for resident users and Three-Hundred-NinetySix
Dollars ($396) per patient per call for non-resident users, plus mileage fee of Seven Dollars ($7) per mile to an
area Hospital with a certified Emergency Department. The patient will also receive an itemized bill for
medications and disposable supplies used.
SECTION 2: All provisions of any resolution of the City of Allen, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of this
resolution be, and the same is hereby, repealed, and all other provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this
resolution shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3: Should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or section of this resolution, as
' amended hereby, be adjudged or held to be void or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of said resolution, as amended hereby, which shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage, and it is
accordingly so resolved.
