ORDINANCE NO. 1962-7-01
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, CHANGING THE NAME OF CR 146 TO TWIN CREEKS
DRIVE FROM EXCHANGE PARKWAY TO RDIGEVIEW DRIVE AS
DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABH.ITY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING FOR A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, has deemed it appropriate to
change the name of CR 146 to Twin Creeks Drive from Exchange Parkway to Ridgeview Drive; and,
WHEREAS, this change will be consistent wnh the existing Twin Creeks Drive to the south.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The name of CR 146 from Exchange Parkway to Ridgeview Dnve, as described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto is hereby changed to "Twin Creeks Drive." The Traffic Engineer is directed to correct
the maps and records of the City to reflect the change in street name herein, and to cause appropriate signage
to be erected.
SECTION 2. Should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or section of this
' ordinance, be adjudged or held to be void or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of the
retraining portions of said ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. All ordinances of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repealed; provided, however, that all other provisions of said
ordinances not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and it is accordingly
so ordained.
