' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR ENCROACHMENT WAIVERS, AND
ALLOWING THE DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT TO ISSUE
SUCH LETTERS WHERE APPROPRIATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Allen receives numerous requests for encroachment waivers, and these letters are legal
in nature and require considerable staff time; and
WHEREAS, it is expected that the number of these requests will continue to increase in the future;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: The Director of Planning and Development is granted authority to issue encroachment waivers in
cases where staff deems it appropriate.
SECTION 2: A fee of $50 will hereinafter be charged for all requests for encroachment waivers.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS, ON
THE 15th DAY OF JUNE, 2000.
