A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF DELINQUENT TAXES
FROM THE TAX ROLLS OF REAL PROPERTY THAT HAS BEEN DELINQUENT
FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS AND OF PERSONAL PROPERTY THAT HAS BEEN
DELINQUENT FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS AS REQUIRED BY SENATE BELL

WHEREAS, Section 33.05 (c) of the Texas Property Tax Code requires the collector for a taxing unit to
cancel and remove from the delinquent tax roll a tax on real property that has been delinquent for more than
20 years and/or a tax on personal property that has been delinquent for more than 10 years, the following
breakdown is provided:

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS THAT: Since the Texas Property In Code requires the removal of the
specified delinquent accounts the Tax Department recommends that this action be approved.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, ON THIS THE 3RD DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1998.
