A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, APPROVING CERTIFICATION OF ANTICIPATED TAX
COLLECTION RATE FOR THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS,
FOR THE 1998-99 TAXABLE YEAR.
WHEREAS, Section 26.04 (b) of the Texas Property Tax Code provides for the Tax Assessor -Collector to
certify the anticipated amount of taxes that will be collected and the anticipated collection rate for 1998-99
taxable year and anticipate a collection amount as calculated below:
1998 Anticipated Levy $10,859,507
1998 Anticipated Collections $10,859,507
1998 Percent of Collections 100%
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THIN CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS THAT: The City Council approves the certification of anticipated tax
collection rate for the City of Allen for the 1998-1999 taxable year.
