A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING THE COUNCIL'S
GOVERNANCE POLICIES BY REPLACING ENDS POLICY 1.0; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Allen City Council approved Resolution No. 1611-7-98(R), adopting
Governance Policies to provide the best and most efficient administration of city government
possible to the citizens of Allen; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, having developed Initial Ends Development / Framing
Discussion, copies of which are attached hereto as Exhibit "A," is now of the opinion that the
stated outcomes or "priority results" should replace the "temporary plug" used in Policy 1.0.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Initial Ends Development / Framing Discussion having been reviewed by
the City Council and found to be acceptable and in the best interests of the City and its
' citizens, are hereby approved and adopted as Ends Policies.
SECTION 2. The Ends Policies shall be the policies and guidelines used by City Council and
City staff to provide effective leadership and efficient administration of city government to the
citizens of the City of Allen.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective from and after its passage.
