A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, APPROVING CERFIFICATION OF ANTICIPATED TAX
COLLECTION RATE FOR THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS,
FOR THE 1997-98 TAXABLE YEAR.
WHEREAS, Section 26.04(b) of the Texas Property Tax Code provides for the Tax Assessor -Collector to
certify the anticipated amount of taxes that will be collected and the anticipated collection rate for 1997-98
taxable year and anticipate a collection amount as calculated below:
1997 Anticipated Levy $9,061,289
1997 Anticipated Collections $9,061,289
1997 Percent of Collections 100%
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT: The City Council approves the certification of anticipated tax
collection rate for the City of Allen for the 1997-98 taxable year.
