The ordinance as passed is as follows: AN ORDINANCE FIXING WATER RATES FOR THE TOWN OF ALLEN, TEXAS, AND ORDAINING OTHER MATTERS RELATIVE TO RENDERING WATER SERVICE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ALLEN, TEXAS: 1. That the water rates per month to be charged and collected by the Town of Allen, Texas, from all customers obtaining service from said System shall be and are hereby fixed as set forth below: First 1{000 gallons or part thereof, - - - -$� Next 1,000 gallons - - - - - - - - - - - - 1;507 Qc:.. The motion was seconded by Alderman_. The motion carrying with it the passage of the ordinance prevailed by the following vote: AYES: Aldermen Lynge, Cundiff, Butler, Leach and Ford and Mayor Watson. NOES: None. The ordinance as passed is as follows: AN ORDINANCE FIXING WATER RATES FOR THE TOWN OF ALLEN, TEXAS, AND ORDAINING OTHER MATTERS RELATIVE TO RENDERING WATER SERVICE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ALLEN, TEXAS: 1. That all bills for services rendered by said System shall be paid monthly on the day of each month after the billing date. If not paid within thirty (30) days after the due date, service shall be dis- ;5 continued. In the event of discontinuance of service an additional a= of $ shall be charged for reconnection to the System. 3. That a tapping fee of V for connection with the Waterworks System shall be paid by the customer. 4. That the Town shall provide a wye in the alley or street adjacent to the last or nearest corner of the connector's property, within ten (10) feet of the surface of the ground. The house connection from the Town lateral shall be installed at the expense of the connector in accordance with the regulations of and subject to the inspection of the Town. 5. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof in conflict herewith am hereby expressly repealed insofar as they conflict herewith. 6. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force immediately after its passage upon reading at this meeting of the Town Council, and any ordinance, resolution or rule prohibiting passage of an ordinance on one reading at the meeting at which it is introduced is hereby suspended and made inapplicable to the passage Of this ordinance. THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF COLLIN TOWN OF ALLEN I. the =1ersigned, Town Secretary of the Town of Allen, Texas, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of an ordinance passed by the Town Council of the Town of Allen, Teuss, on the day of June, 1954, fixing water rates for the Town of Allen, which ordinance is duly of record in the minutes of said Town Council. I do further certify that there is no resolution, ordinance or rule in effect prohibitin the passage of such ordinances at the same meeting at which they are introduced, and that said ordinance was introduced, voted upon, end passed in accordance with any existing rules of procedure of said Council.
