O-12-12-54t I �- THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF COLLIN TOWN OF ALLEN On this the -V day of, 195, the Town Council of the Town of Allen, Texas, convened in Meeting, at the regular meeting place, with the following members thereof, to -wit: Mr. V. B. Watson, Mayor, 0. E. Lynge, T. H. Cundiff, Glenn Butler, Aldermen, W. E. Ford, A. C. Story, �1Town Secretary, being present, with the following absent: constituting a quorum, at which time the following proceedings were had: Alderman _ n 4 _ introduced an ordinance and moved its passage. The motion was seconded by Alderman A� �. The motion carrying with it the passage of the ordinance prevailed by the following vote: L9,...... -- AYES: Aldermen Lynge, Cundiff, Butler, beech and Ford and Mayor Watson. NOES: None. The ordinance as passed is as follows: AN ORDINANCE WITH REFERENCE TO THE WATER DEPARTMENT BUILDING. WHEREAS, on June 7, 1954, the Town Council of the Town of Allen passed an ordinance authorizing the issuance of $55,000.00 of Town of Allen Waterworks System Revenue Bonds, Series 1954, and passed an ordinance author- izing the issuance of $25,000.00 of Town of Allen Waterworks System Tax Bonds, Series 1954, both of which issues were for the purpose of purchasing, improving and extending a Waterworks System for said Town, and all of said bonds were duly issued, sold and delivered to the purchasers thereof; and WHEREAS, on June 29, 1954, an agreement was entered into between the Town, M. A. Bagberg & Company, Inc., of Dallas, Texas, the purchaser of saii bonds, and the Central National Bank, McKinney, Texas, under which agreement, $64,300.00 of principal amount received from the sale of the two issues of bonds above described were deposited in escrow in the Central National Bank in a Fund called "Town of Allen, Texas, Waterworks System Construction Fund", with the provision that said Fund was to be disbursed only for waterworks purposes upon approval of the Town Council and Koch & Fowler, Consulting Engineers for the Town; and WHEREAS, the Town has caused to be constructed a Water Building for the purpose of housing the Water Department office and storing Water Department equipment and supplies; and WHEREAS, before approving the claim for the construction of said building the said Engineers desire to be assured that said building was constructed and will be used for said purposes; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ALLEN: 1. That said Water Department Building located was constructed and will continue to be used for the purpose of housing the Water Department office and storing Water Department equipment and supplies and tools, and said Building consti- tutes a part of said waterworks system. 2. That this Council hereby approves, and the said Koch & Fowler are hereby requested to approve the following claim for the constrution of said Building: PASSED AND APPROVED this the ,Z3 day of,ate, 195• Mayor, Town of Allen, Texas.
