ORDINANCE CALLING AN ELECTION
THE STATE OF TEXAS :
COUNTY OF COLLIN

WHEREAS, the Tarn Council of said Torun deems it advisable
to issue the bonds of said Town of Allen for the purpose hereinafter
stated.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
ALLEN, TEXAS:
1. That an election shall be held in said Town of Allen on the
7th day of September, 1963, at the City Hall, and the following
election officers are hereby appointed to hold said election at said
polling place:

2. That at said election the following Proposition shall
be submitted in accordance with law:
Shall the Town Council of said Town be authorized to
issue the bonds of said Town, in one or more series or
issues, in the aggregate principal amount of $200,000,
with the bonds of each such series or issue, respectively,
to mature serially in not to exceed 40 years from their
date, and to bear interest at rates not to exceed 6% per
annum, for the purpose of improving and extending said Town's
Sewer System; and shall said Town Council be authorized to
levy and cause to be assessed and collected annual ad
valorem taxes in an amount sufficient to pay the interest on
said bonds and provide a sinking fund to pay said bonds at
maturity?
3. That the official ballots for said election shall have
written or printed thereon the following:
"FOR THE ISSUANCE OF SEWER SYSTEM TAX BONDS"
"AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF SEWER SYSTEM TAX BONDS"
4. That only resident, qualified electors who own taxable
property in said Town and who have duly rendered the same for taxation
shall be entitled to vote at said election.
5. That notice of said election shall be given by
posting a substantial copy of this Ordinance at the City Hall
and at two other places in said Town, not less than 15 days
prior to the date set for said election; and, there being no
newspaper published in said Town a substantial copy of this
Ordinance also shall be published on the same day in each of two
successive weeks in a newspaper published in this County which
has general circulation in said Town, the date of the first
publication to be not less than 14 days prior to the date set
for said election.
CERTIFICATE FOR ELECTION ORDINANCE
We, the undersigned, Mayor and Town Secretary, respect-
`- ivly, of said Town, hereby certify as follows:
1. That the attached and following is a true, full, and
correct copy of an Ordinance Calling An Election duly passed
by the flown Council of said Town at a Special Meeting held at
the regular meeting place on the 14th day of August, 1963,
which Ordinance has been duly recorded in the Minutes of said
Town Council,.
2. That the following are the members and officers of
said Town Council:

A. C. Story, Town Secretary
and all said persons were present at the time, of passage of
said Ordinance except the following absertees: None,
