AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 42 TO THE CITY
OF ALLEN, TEXAS, BY THE ADDITION TO SECTION 11 THEREOF
OF ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS; PROVIDING FOR
THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That from and after the effective date
of this ordinance Ordinance No. 42 to the City of Allen,
Texas, is hereby amended by adding the following subparagraphs
to Section 11 thereof, to -wit:
(L) that the mobile home park operator will install
all water and sewer mains, including all necessary apparatus
thereto, according to the specifications of the City and
the total cost of such mains shall be paid by the mobile
home park operator;
(M) upon completion of the aforesaid utilities according
to the plans approved by the City, such mains shall become
the property of the City and the mobile home park operator
shall furnish to the City all necessary easements for the
maintenance of said utilities and for the purpose of
making connections thereto and reading the meters;
(N) the mobile home park operator will construct
concrete streets throughout the mobile home park according
to the standards and specifications of the City; however,
the City is not required to accept a dedication of such
streets, and they shall remain the private property of
the mobile home park operator, and the City shall not be
liable for the maintenance thereof;
(0) the mobile home park operator will install
throughout such mobile home park street lights of the
quality and quantity designated by the City;
(P) each trailer space shall be furnished with a
minimum of two (2) offstreet all weather parking spaces;
(Q) all mobile homes shall be required to use either
natural gas or electricity for cooking and heating;
(R) all utilities required of such park shall be
placed underground;
(S) no mobile home smaller than 10 feet by 40 feet
will be allowed to park in the mobile home park;
(T) all recreation areas shall be properly maintained
and supervised and will maintain a 10:00 o'clock P.M.
closing time;
(U) all water and sewer taps shall be made by employees
of the City, and the City will be promptly notified by
the mobile home park operator of any taps made other
than by the employees of the City;

(V) All permit fees shall be paid to the CITY with the
filing of the application for the permit to maintain a mobile
home park, and such fees shall be based upon the number of
parking spaces developed by the APPLICANT at the following
rates:

(W) the mobile home park operator will construct and
maintain a six (6) feet high chain link fence on all sides
of the mobile home park with a solid screen of evergreen
shrubs behind the fence:
(X) the mobile home park operator will grant to the
Allen Police Department permission to enforce state and City
traffic laws throughout the streets in the mobile home park
(Y) the mobile home park operator shall upon demand of
the assessor and collector of taxes for the City of Allen and
the Allen Independent School District furnish to said tax assess-
or a list of all mobile homes in such park as of January let
of each year, showing the kind, make and year model as well as
the length and width of such trailer, and the name and address
of its owner.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 42 of the City of Allen, Texas,
as so amended is hereby readopted by the City Council of the
City of Allen, Texas.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately
upon its passage and approval.
Duly passed and approved by the City Council of the City
