ANNEXATION ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY INTO THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,TEXAS, AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
THAT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen,
Texas, after due investigation, has determined that the
hereinafter described real estate is vacant, uninhabited
territory adjacent to the present corporate limits of the
City of Allen, Texas, and has determined that it will be
advantageous and beneficial to the City of Allen and its
Inhabitants to annex such territory to the City of Allen;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the territory described as follows
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Allen,
Texas, to -wit:
BEGINVING at a point in the center line of Stacy Road,
THENCE in a NORTHERLY direction following the meanderings
of the West right-of-way line of U.S. 75 to its intersection
with the center line of the East bound traffic lane of State
Highway 1217
THENCE EAST along the center line of theEast bound traffic
lane of State Highway 121 to its intersection with the East
right-of-way line of U.S. Eighway 75;
of thTHEhtNCE ri SOUTHERLY direction following the wanderingsg of -way line of U.S, 75 to a point in the
center line of Stacy Road; said point being now the North
line of the corporate limits of the City of Allen at this

SECTION 11. This Ordinance shall tags effect
immediately upon its passage and approval.
Duly passed and approved by the City Council of the
