RESOLUTION NO. ]AO
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS
CONCERNING A REGIONAL SEWERAGE SYSTEM FOR THE EAST FORK OF
THE TRINITY RIVER BASIN.
WHEREAS, the City of Allen is aware of the need for high quality discharges from
sewer treatment facilities on the East Fork of the Trinity River;
WHEREAS, the City of Allen presently contracts with the City of Plano for sewerage
service which has been mutually beneficial to both entities;
WHEREAS, in an effort to provide regional service for all entities involved on the
East Fork of the Trinity River the City Council of the City of A 11en resolves that:
1. It would be in the best interest of the City of Allen for the North Texas
Municipal Water District to be designated by the Texas Water Quality Board
as the regional entity to assist and implement regional system or systems
on the East Fork of the Trinity River.
