Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Parks and Recreation Board present, Vice Chair Holley
called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2016 in the
Clubhouse Pavilion at The Courses at Watters Creek at 7201 Chase Oaks
Boulevard, Plano, Texas.
1) City of Allen and Allen Sports Association Partnership and Development of
Future Joint Facility
Ken Geest of the Allen Sports Association covered the roles and responsibilities of the
association as well as introduced the ASA Executive Board Members. Tim Dentler,
Parks and Recreation Director covered the roles and responsibilities of the Allen Parks
Board and introduce its board members. Future projects and partnership opportunities
were then presented and discussed.

Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Holley and a second by Board Member
Vizcaino, the Board voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the
meeting at 8:28 p.m. The motion carried.
