With a quonun of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Doss at 8:04 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, in
the Third Floor Conference Room located in City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas 75013.
Approve Minutes of the May 1S, 2016, Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Vice -Chair Wilson and a second by Board Member Pickle, the Board
voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes of May 18, 2016, Regular
Meeting. The motion carred.
Update on Convention Hotel.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on the Convention Hotel project.
3. Update on CVB Marketing Program.
Ms. Jones presented an update on the marketing program.
4. Update on Proposed Budget for FY 2016-17.
Ms. Cromwell provided an overview of the CVB's proposed budget for FY 2016-17.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Vice -Chair Wilson and a second by Board Member Pickle, the Board
voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting of the Allen
Convention and Visitor's Bureau Advisory Board at 8:47 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24,
2016. The motion carried.
