' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING FIRE CONSTRUCTION PERMIT FEES AS
AUTHORIZED BY THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas requires all persons performing related work located
in the City of Allen to submit applications and obtain permits pursuant to the International Fire Code of
ordinances; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish the fees and charges, as set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby establishes the following permit fees and charges for the installation or
modification to systems and equipment for which a permit is required by code:
1. Construction Permit Fees.
(a)
0-100,000 square feet
$0.02 per square foot of building area
$60.00 minimum
(b)
100,001-300,000 square feet
$2,000 for the first 100,000 square feet.
Plus an additional $0.017 for each
additional square foot or fraction thereof
(c)
300,001 + square feet
$5,400 for the first 300,000 square feet.
Plus an additional $0.01 for each
additional square foot or fraction thereof
(d)

SECTION 2. Resolutions of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of this
resolution be, and the same are hereby, repealed; provided, however, that all other provisions of said resolutions
not in conflict with the provisions of this resolution shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage, provided, however,
' the fees and charges established herein shall take effect on its passage.
