' AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING AND CORRECTING A SCRIVENER'S ERROR IN
ORDINANCE NO. 3488-06-17, PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
ON THE JUNE 27, 2017, CORRECTING THE NAME TO "GUARDIANS WAY" AS
SHOWN ON EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABH.rrY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING FOR A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3488-6-17, passed and approved by the City Council on lune 27, 2017, contained
a scrivener's error in the renaming of "Venture Drive" to "Guardian Way" which should have been renamed to
"Guardians Way" and,
WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 3488-6-17 should be amended to correct said error.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 3488-6-17 of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, shall continue in full force
and effect except as amended herein, and is hereby amended by changing all references to "Guardian Way" to
"Guardians Way" as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
' SECTION 2. Should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or section of this ordinance,
be adjudged or held to be void or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions
of said ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. All ordinances of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repealed; provided, however, that all other provisions of said
ordinances not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption in accordance with the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Allen, and it is accordingly so ordained.
