The called - special session of the Allen City Council
was called to order by Mayor Rodenbaugh at 7:07 p.m. on
Thursday, August 27, 1987, in the Council Chambers of the
Allen Municipal Annex, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
Public Hearing: FY 1987 - 88
Operating Budget for the City of Allen (Agenda Item II)
City Manager Jon McCarty advised the Council that some
figures had been changed in the budget based upon discussions
S at the budget retreat and correction pages were delivered to
(`+ the Council.
Mayor Rodenbaugh opened the public hearing for the Fiscal
Year 1987 - 88 Budget. With no one wishing to speak either
for or against the proposed budget, Mayor Rodenbaugh closed the
public hearing.
The Council briefly discussed placing an agenda item on
the upcoming Council meeting in order to discuss, if any, any
questions that were left unanswered at the Council's budget
retreat or to cover any other budget questions.

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Mayor Pro Tem Farmer, and seconded
by Councilman Pennington, the Council voted 7 - 0 to
adjourn the called - special session of the Allen City
Council at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 1987.
The motion carried.
