With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Doss at 8:10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in the
Third Floor Conference Room located in City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas 75013.
Approve Minutes of the February 15, 2017, Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Simpson and a second by Board Member Brooks, the
Board voted three (3) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes of February 15, 2017,
Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
2. Update on Convention Hotel.
Ms. Cromwell presented an update on the Convention Hotel.
3. Update on Marketing and Servicing Activities.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on the hotel market conditions.
4. Discussion of Board Evaluation to Provide Feedback to the Council Nominating Committee.
Adjournment
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Secretary Simpson and a second by Board Member Brooks, the Board
voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention
and Visitor's Bureau Advisory Board at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. The motion
carred.
