With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Doss at 8:06 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, in the
Third Floor Conference Room located in City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas 75013.
1. Approve Minutes of the May 17, 2017, Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Secretary Simpson and a second by Board Member Brooks, the Board
voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to approve the minutes of May 17, 2017, Regular
Meeting. The motion carried.
Update on Convention Hotel.
Ms. Cromwell presented an update on the Convention Hotel.
Update on Proposed Budget for 2017-2018.
Ms. Cromwell reviewed the proposed budget for the CVB for Fiscal Year 2017-2018.
Adiournment
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Secretary Simpson and a second by Board Member Pickle, the Board
voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention
and Visitor's Bureau Advisory Board at 9:02 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. The motion
carried.
