A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE
ATTACHED INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR POLICE ACADEMY TRAINING
SERVICES; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
FOR POLICE ACADEMY TRAINING SERVICES BY THE CITY MANAGER; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City of Plano and City of Richardson (Hosting Cities) desire to host a police academy at
the Training Center; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Allen (Participating City) desires to use the Training Center as a basic training
Academy for its police officer recruits and certain fire marshals; and,
WHEREAS, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Chapter 791, of the Texas Government Code, authorizes units of
local government to contract with one or more units of local government to perform governmental functions
and services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The terms and conditions of the attached Interlocal Agreement has been reviewed by the City
Council of the City of Allen, Texas, and are hereby in all things approved.
' SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached Interlocal Agree for Police
Academy Training Services.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective from and after its passage.

COUNTY, TEXAS, ON THIS THE 14TH DAY OF NOVEMBER 2017.
