' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS,
AND THE CITY OF PLANO, TEXAS, FOR EMPLOYEES TO PARTICIPATE IN
TRAINING COURSES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, has been presented an Interlocal Agreement by and
between the City of Allen, Texas, and the City of Plano, Texas, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference (herein called "Agreement") regarding training courses; and,
WHEREAS, both cities provide training courses (`Program") and desire to extend such Program to employees
of both cities; and,
WHEREAS, both cities have current revenues available to satisfy the fee and/or expenses incurred pursuant to
this Agreement and,
WHEREAS, the Program will provide employees of both cities with additional knowledge and skills to more
effectively serve the citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
' SECTION 1. The Agreement is hereby approved, and the City Manager, or designee is hereby authorized to
execute the Agreement and all other documents in connection therewith on behalf of the City of Allen,
substantially according to the terms and conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" hereto.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, ON THIS THE 27- DAY OF MARCH 2018.
