Call to Order and Announce a Ouorum is Present

With a quorum of the Councilmembers present, the special called meeting to canvass the Bond Election
of the Allen City Council was called to order by Mayor Farmer at 7:06 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 1994, in the
Council Chambers of the Allen Municipal Annex, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
Canvass of Election Returns for the
June 25, 1994 City of Allen Bond Election
(Agenda Item II)
City Secretary Judy Morrison reviewed for the City Council the election returns for the Bond Election
held on Saturday, June 25, 1994. Mrs. Morrison reviewed hand-out materials that were distributed including
recent voting history, early voting accumulated totals, election day accumulated totals and the combined election
day and early accumulated totals. She also reviewed voting statistics including the number of registered voters
— 14,050 — which indicated a 12% voter turnout. The precinct totals verified the following results:

Consider a Resolution Declaring the Results
of the June 25, 1994, City of Allen Bond Election (Agenda Item III)
The proposed resolution shows cumulative votes cast to the election being 1,746.
Resolution No. 1261-6-94(R): A Resolution of the
City Council of the City of Allen, Collin County,
Texas, Canvassing the Returns and Declaring the
Results of the Bond Election Held June 25, 1994.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Nichols and seconded by Councilmember Kerr, the
Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to approve Resolution No. 1261-6-94(R) as
previously captioned. The motion carried.
Executive Session (Agenda Item IV)
In accordance with The Texas Government Code, Personnel, Section 551.074, the Allen City Council
convened into Executive Session at 7:14 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Allen Municipal Annex, One Butler
Circle, Allen, Texas in order to discuss matters pertaining to personnel assignments.
The Executive Session was adjourned at 8.33 p.m.

Reconvene and Consider Action on
Items Discussed Durine Executive Session (Agenda Item V)
The Allen City Council reconvened into the special called session at 8:34 p.m. on Monday, June 27,
1994, in the Council Chambers of the Allen Municipal Annex There was no action taken on items discussed
during Executive Session.

Adiourn (Agenda Item VII)
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Nichols and seconded by Councilmember Kerr, the
Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the special called session of the Allen
City Council at 8:34 p.m., on Monday, June 27, 1994 The motion carried.
