One additional SRO Officer with the City participation will be expected during that year. Issues to be considered in the future include: Expectations on zero tolerance and establishment of a separate Police Department as allowed under the Texas Education Code. The Board concluded that the SRO's have been a tremendous success in the Allen Independent School District (AISD) and the Board is very complimentary of the two (2) officers providing these services at the present time.
