March 10, 2005, in The Senior Center at Frisco Square, 6670 Moore, Frisco, Texas, The Plano City Council did not have a quorum present. Receive Update Regarding the Arts of Collin County Project and the Initial Schematic Designs for the Arts Park Site and Facility Master Plan Vice -President Maso provided a brief overview of the project including the current status of the design process. Executive Director Random introduced the members of the Design Team. ALLEN CITY COUNCIL JOINT MEETING MARCH 10, 2005 PAGE Mr. Tingley, Mr Boles and Ms. Jones discussed the goals, process, program goals, phase one programming and future programming. As part of the discussion, an overview of the site was provided. The group discussion included the following topics: • Exchange Parkway o Expansion plans and access to SH 121 o Potential impact of roadway noise on the facility • Hike and Bike Trail Connections through McKinney • Potential location of a hotel and convention center • Location of commercial sites • Amphitheater size and location • Sales tax allocation • 'No name creek' status • Proximity of parking to facility The Board expressed its appreciation to the Councils for providing their support and comments at this important stage of the process. Mayor Terrell, to conjunction with Mayor Simpson and Vice -President Maso, adjourned the Joint Meeting at 7:59 p.m. on Thursday. March 10, 2005.
