1. Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Councilmembers present, the Special Called Meeting of the Allen City Council
was called to order by Mayor Terrell at 7.02 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2005, in the Council
Chambers of the Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas.
2. Briefing from TxDOT (Texas Department of Transportation) Regarding the Funding for SH
121 Main Lanes.
3. Public Comments.
The following individuals spoke in opposition and expressed concerns regarding the tolling of SH
121
Sharon Overall, 3108 Mason Drive, Plano, Texas;
Jason Vaughn, 1605 Bryce Canyon Lane, Allen, Texas,
Carl finer, 749 Summerfield Drive, Allen, Texas,
Barb Van De Voorde, 1107 Regina Drive, Allen, Texas; and
Roxanne Harvey, 1227 Hillcrest Drive, Allen, Texas.

The following individuals spoke in favor of the tolling of SH 121.
Mike Williams, 2304 Forest Grove, Allen, Texas;
Kim Brooks, 1213 Arbor Park, Allen, Texas; and,
Charles Kelly, 1538 Sunflower Drive, Allen, Texas.

John Kelley, 1422 Tartan Drive, Allen, Texas, requested the tolling issue be submitted to the voters
as allowed by House Bill 2702.

Adjourn
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Stout and a second by Councilmember Pacheco, the
Council voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Special Called Meeting of the
Allen City Council at 8:26 p m. on Thursday, June 23, 2005. The motion carried.
These minutes approved on the 12' day of Jam, 2005.
