Gentry Training Facilities of the Central Fire Station located at 310 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas. Petition for Establishment of TIF (Tax Increment Financing) Zone Located at the Southwest Corner of US 75 and Bethany Drive. • Consider Designating an AISD Representative to Meet with the City of Allen City Council or the City Council's Designated Representative, to Discuss the Project Plan and the Reinvestment Zone Financing Plan for the Proposed Zone. Mr Hammeke presented information on the establishment of a TIF zone located at the corner of US 75 and Bethany Drive. As required by State law, the City requested that an AISD representative be designated to meet with the City of Allen representative to discuss the project plan and the TRIAD REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 6, 2005 PAGE reinvestment zone financing plan for the proposed zone. The AISD Board of Trustees designated Mr. West, Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Operations, to represent the District in these discussions. 3. Update Regarding Transportation Issues Related to SH 121 and US 75. Mr. Baumgartner provided an update on the submittal of the final program to Texas Department of Transportation. Judge Harris briefed the Triad members on the progress of discussions between the County, cities and Texas Department of Transportation regarding the toll proposal for SH 121 Update Regarding Hurricanes Katrina and Rita Evacuees in Collin County. An update was provided by Judge Harris, Ms. Preston and Mr. Banks on the slams of assistance provided to evacuees of Hurricane Katrina and Rita located in Collin County. Update Regarding the Senior Recreational Center and Phase II of Allen Station Park. Mr. Baumgartner provided an update on the construction and planned opening of the Senior Recreational Center. Ms. Smeby briefed the members on he success of'The Edge' youth center and skate park. She reported that a Park Assistants Program was established to provide students the opportunity to participate in the care of the park. There are currently 10 Park Assistants in the program. Mayor Pro Tem Fulk left the meeting during this presentation, resulting in attendance of less than a quorum of the Allen City Council Approve TRIAD Meeting Dates for the 2006 Calendar Year. The Triad members approved the following meeting dates for 2006: • Monday, April 3, 2006 — City of Allen will host • Monday, October 30, 2006 — AISD will host Items of Interest. • Community Announcements Mayor Terrell announced that the Town of Fairview has become the first member city of the Arts of Collin County Adjourn The Triad Meeting was adjourned at 7:59 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2005. 0 TRIAD REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 6, 2005 PAGE IThese minutes approved on the 25° day of October, 2005.
