1. Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Members present, the Allen City Council Joint Workshop with the Planning
and Zoning Commission was called to order by Mayor Terrell, in conjunction with Chair Wendland,
at 6:12 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2007, in the Community Room of the Allen Municipal Court and
Parks Building, 301 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas.
2. Briefing Regarding Montgomery Farm and its Efforts for LEED Certification (Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating Systemrm) and the Requirements for
Such Designation.
Ms. Amy Monier with Montgomery Farm introduced Mr. Robin McCaffery of the MESA
Design Group. Mr. McCaffery provided a briefing regarding Montgomery Farm and its
efforts for LEED Certification.

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Mayor Pro Tem Stout and a second by Councilmember Obertneyer,
the Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Joint Workshop with the
Planning and Zoning Commission at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 The motion
carred.
