Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Board Members present, Chair Smith called the meeting to order at
5:33 p.m. in the City Hall Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century
Parkway, Allen, Texas, 75013.
Regular Agenda
1. Board Training: Discussion and review of meeting procedures and process.
Marc Kurbansade, Director of Community Development,presented the item to the Board.
He provided a general overview of meeting procedures and process.
Executive Session
The Board recessed the Workshop Meeting at 5:43 p.m.
In accordance with the Texas Government Code, the Board of Adjustment convened into
Executive Session at 5:43 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018, in the City Hall Council
Conference Room, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas, in order to discuss matters
pertaining to:

Consultations with Attorney Pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code.
The Executive Session adjourned at 5:56 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018.
The Board of Adjustment reconvened into the Workshop Meeting at 5:56 p.m. on Monday,
May 7, 2018 in the City Hall Council Conference Room, 305 Century Parkway, Allen,
Texas.
Adjournment
Motion: Upon a motion by 2"' Vice-Chair Barry and a second by 1st Vice-
Chair Harrison, the Board voted 5 IN FAVOR, and 0 OPPOSED to
adjourn the meeting at 5:57 p.m.
The motion carried.
The Board transitioned to the City Hall Council Chambers to begin the Regular Meeting.
