1. Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Members present, the Allen City Council Special Called Meeting with the
Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order by Mayor Terrell, in conjunction with Chair
Wendland, at 5:39 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, in the Community Room of the Allen Municipal
Court and Parks Budding, 301 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas
2. Discussion Regarding Land Use and Zoning of the Montgomery Farm Development.
Mr. Williams provided an update on the current status of the Montgomery Farm Development
including Connemara Crossing, Bethany Mews, the Winery at the Farm, Hamilton Hills and the
Montgomery Urban Tree Farm.
3. Discussion Regarding the Allen Land Development Code's Provisions for Underground Utility
Services.
Mr Bass reviewed the current provisions for underground utility services and the proposed
amendments to the Allen Land Development Code.
4. Discussion Regarding The Aspens at Twin Creeks, an Active Adult Senior Community.
Mr. Bass briefed the Council and Commission on the proposed project.
5. Items of Interest. [Council and Commission announcements regarding local civic and charitable
events, meetings, fundraisers, and awards.]

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Mayor Pro Tem Stout and a second by Councilmember Obermeyer,
the Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Allen City Council Special
Called Meeting with the Planning and Zoning Commission at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16,
2009 The motion carried.
