Approve Minutes of the December 14, 2010, Regular Meeting. Set August 12.14, 2011, as the Dates for the City Council Budget Workshop with City Council and Executive Staff. Adopt an Ordinance Amending the City of Allen Code of Ordinances. Chapter 6 - Health and Environment, Article 111, Solid Waste. ORDINANCE NO. 2979-1-11: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, BY AMENDING CHAPTER 6. "HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT", ARTICLE III, "SOLID WASTE.": PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY OF FINE NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000) FOR EACH OFFENSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 8. Adopt a Resolution Approving the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan 2011-2020 Establishing a Guide for Parkland Acquisition and Development in the City of Allen. RESOLUTION NO. 2980d.I1(R): A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN. COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE PARKS, RECREATION AND OPEN SPACE MASTER PLAN 2011 - 2020, ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE 9. Receive the Summary of Property Tax Collections as of November 2010. The motion carried Regular Agenda 10. Conduct a Public Hearing and Adopt an Ordinance Granting Specific Use Permit SUP No. 116 for Amusement, Commercial (Indoor) use to be located in 27,600± square feet of space (Suite 150) in the building located at 505 Century Parkway. The property is 5.409± acres being Lot 2R, Block 3, Millennium Business Park. [Allen Baseball Holdings, Inc. (D -Bat Allen)] Mayor Terrell opened the public hearing and asked anyone wishing to speak for or against this item to do so at this time. With no one speaking, Mayor Terrell closed the public heanng. ORDINANCE NO. 2981-1-11: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN. COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS AMENDING THE ALLEN LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE AND ZONING MAP AS PREVIOUSLY AMENDED, BY GRANTING SPECIFIC USE PERMIT NO. 116 TO ALLOW A 27,600 SQUARE FOOT PORTION OF THE BUILDING LOCATED ON A 5 409:t ACRE TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED AS LOT 2R. BLOCK 3 OF THE REPLAT OF LOT I. BLOCK 3, MILLENNIUM BUSINESS PARK, CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS (ALSO KNOWN AS 505 CENTURY PARKWAY, SUITE #150, ALLEN, TEXAS), PRESENTLY ZONED LI - "LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (TO BE USED FOR AMUSEMENT. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Sedlacek and a second by Councilmember Caplinger, the Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to adopt Ordinance No. 2981- 1-11, as previously captioned, granting Specific Use Permit (SUP) No 116 for Amusement, Commercial (Indoor) use to be located in 27,600± square feet of space (Suite 150) in the building located at 505 Century Parkway with the following additions: 1) The SUP is limited to Allen Baseball Holdings, LLC located in Suite 150 at 505 Century Parkway; and 2) No outside activities will be associated with the use The motion carried Other Business 11.
