With a quorum of the Allen City Council present, the Special Called Workshop Session of the Allen City
Council was called to order by Mayor Terrell at 8:46 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2010, in the Rowlett
Room at the Courtyard by Marriott, 210 East Stacy Road, Allen, Texas 75002.

Summary of Strategic Plan Discussion
Council discussion included the following items with regards to the Strategic Plan, future of
Convention and Visitor Bureau, partnership with Allen Chamber of Commerce and the development
of the community in regards to zoning and the changing population base.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Mayor Pro Tem Stout and a second by Councdmember Obermeyer,
the Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Special Called
Workshop of the Allen City Council at 4:59 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2010. The motion
carried.
These minutes approved on the 91h day of February, 2010.
