Call to Order and Announce a Ouorum is Present
With a quorum of the Councilmembers present, the Special Called Meeting of the Allen City Council was
called to order by Mayor Terrell at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, in the Council Chambers of the
Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas.

2. Consider Appointments to Fill Expiring Terms on the Allen Economic Development
Corporation Board.
Mayor Terrell called for nominations from the City Council for appointments to the Allen Economic
Development Corporation.
Counedmember Sedlacek nominated the following individuals to the Allen Economic Development
Corporation: Place No. 4 — Scott Sutherland, and Place No. 5 — Carl Clemencich.
With no other nominations offered, Mayor Terrell closed the call for nominations.

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Caplinger and a second by Councilmember
Obermeyer, the Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to appoint the following
individuals to serve on the Allen Economic Development Corporation: Place No. 4, Scott
Sutherland, and Place No. 5, Carl Clemencich, and to set a term expiration date of September
30, 2013. The motion carried

The Executive Session was not held

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Mayor Pro Tem Stout and a second by Councilmember Herald, the
Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Special Called Meeting of the
Allen City Council at 1:02 p in on Tuesdav, November 16, 2010. The motion carried.
