1. Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present.
With a quorum of the members present, the TRIAD Meeting was called to order by Mayor Terrell,
Vice -President Jones and Chair Sandoval at 6:18 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011, in the Multipurpose
Room at the Allen Senior Recreation Center located at 451 SL Mary Drive, Allen, Texas.
2. Construction Update.
Mr. Flanigan provided an update on construction projects under development in the City of Allen.
The update included the status of major roadways, facilities, residential developments and
commercial developments.
3. Legislative Update.
® Chief Hawley reviewed the potential local impact of proposed legislation before the Texas
Legislature regarding the State's budget and redistricting efforts related to the 2010 Census.

Mr. Tarpley presented information regarding the potential impact of proposed legislation before the
Texas Legislature regarding school funding. He reviewed the district's response to the state's
financial crisis to date, and possible options the district may be forced to consider to balance the
budget. He noted the importance of community involvement in contacting our legislators.

6. Adjournment.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Obermeyer and a second by Mayor Pro Tem Stout,
the Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Triad Meeting at 7:23 p m.
on Monday, April 4, 2011 The motion carried.
