iCouncrlmember Caplinger nominated Councdmember Stout with a second by Councdmember Sedlacek.
With no otter nominations offered, Mayor Terrell closed the call for nominations. Counnlmember Stout was
elected as Mayor Pro Tem by a vote of seven (7) for and norm (0) opposed.
Public Recognition
1. Citizens' Comments,
Mr. Jan Formella, 1491 Woodmount Drive, Allen, Texas. spoke regarding the home alarm
registration program.
2. Recognition of the Allen Economic Development Corporation as a Recipient of the 2010
Economic Excellence Award from the Texas Economic Development Council.

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Counctlmember Obermeyer and a second by Councilmember
Herald, the Council voted seven Or for and none (0) opposed to adopt the items on the
Consent Agenda as follows
3. Approve Minutes of the May 23, 2011, Special Called Meeting to Canvass the Results of the
May 14, 2011, General Election.
4. Approve Minutes of the May 24, 2011, Regular Meeting.
5. Adopt a Resolution Nominating Frontier Communications Corporation to the Office of the
Governor's Economic Development & Tourism Division as an Enterprise Zone Project.
RESOLUTION NO, 3015-6-11(R): A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, APPROVING FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS
CORPORATION, A DELAWARE CORPORATION, TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR,
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & TOURISM ("EDT') DIVISION THROUGH THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT BANK ("BANK") AS AN ENTERPRISE PROJECT, AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
6. Ratify the Conveyance of an Electric Easement Executed on May 20, 2011, to Oncor Electric
Delivery for the Cable Wakeboard Park.

7. Motion to Confirm City Council Appointments to the Council Nominating Committee for the
Appointment of Boards and Commissions.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Counctlmember Herald and a second by Comwilmember McGregor,
the Council voted seven (7) for and none (01 opposed to confirm the appointments of Council
members Obermeyer, Sedlacck and Caplinger to the Council Nominating Committee, as
recommended by Mayor Terrell, The motion tamed

Council recognized Boy Scouts from Troops 624 and 1299 in attendance as a requirement for
earning a merit badge
Council wished Councilmember Sedlacek a happy birthday.
Council wished Jordan Herald a happy birthday.
Council commended the Heritage Guild for celebrating Flag Day at a ceremony on June 12.
Councilmember McGregor announced he would be absent from the lune 28 meeting.
Executive Session
The Executive Session was not held.

MOTION: Upon a motion made by Mayor Pro Tem Stout and a second by Councilmember Herald, the
Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting of the
Allen City Council at 7'36 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011. The motion carried.
