MOTION: Upon a motion made by Mayor Pro Tem Stout and a second by Councilmember Obermeyer,
the Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to adopt the items on the Consent Agenda
as follows
4. Approve Minutes of the July 12, 2011, Regular Meeting.
5. Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Purchase and Sale Agreement with P. Bush Elkin
Property Company, Ltd. For 7.45± Acres of Ridgeview Drive Right -of -
Way and 24.25± Acres of Parkland in the Amount of $5,351,078 plus Closing Costs.
6. Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Purchase and Sale Agreement with Fellowship
Christian Center Church for 3± Acres of Parkland in the Amount of $119,700 plus Closing
Costs.
7. Receive the Proposed Fiscal Year 2011-2012 City Budget and the Proposed Fiscal Year 2012-
2016 Capital Improvement Program.
S. Receive the Summary of Property Tax Collections as of June 2011.
9. Receive the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Status Report.
The motion carried.

10. Set Tuesday, August 9, 2011, as the First Public Hearing Date and Tuesday, August 23, 2011, as
the Second Public Hearing Date Regarding the Fiscal Year 2011-2012 City Budget.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Sedlacek and seconded by Councilmember
Obermeyer, the Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to set Tuesday, August 9,
2011, and Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at Allen City Hall, One Allen Civic Plaza,
305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas as the dates, time, and place for the first and second

Public Hearings on the City's Proposed Fiscal Year 2011-2012 Budget in accordance with
Article N, Section 4.04 of the City Charter The motion carried.
11. Set Tuesday, August 9, 2011, as the First Public Hearing Date and Tuesday, August 23, 2011 as
the Second Public Hearing Date Regarding the Fiscal Year 2011-2012 City Tax Rate.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Obenneyer and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Stout,
the Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to set Tuesday, August 9, 2011, and
Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at Allen City Hall, One Allen Civic Plaza, 305
Century Parkway, Allen, Texas, as the dates, time, and place for the first and second Public
Hearings on the proposed City Tax Rate of 0 554000 cents per $100 of appraised value for
the Fiscal year 2011-2012. The motion carried.

Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting of the Allen
City Council at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011. The motion carried
