Consent Agenda
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Herald and a second by Councilmember Brooks, the
Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adopt all items on the Consent Agenda
as follows*
6. Approve Minutes of the February 24, 2015, Regular Meeting.
7. Adopt a Resolution Supporting the Clean Fleet Policy Revision Adopted by the North Central
Texas Council of Governments and the Regional Transportation Council.
RESOLUTION NO. 3286-3-151R): A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, ADOPTING A CLEAN FLEET VEHICLE POLICY;
AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
8. Award Bid and Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Purchase of Irrigation Parts,
Supplies and Maintenance from Irrigators Supply and Mander's Maintenance in a Total
Annual Amount of $77,000, with the Option for Two, One -Year Renewals.
9. Award Bid and Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract with North Rock
Construction, LLC, in an Amount Not to Exceed $232,426, for the Reconstruction of Hillside
Park and Establish a Project Budget of $277,790.
10. Award Bid and Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract for the Purchase and
Installation of One 20 -Ton and One 25 -Ton Roof Mounted HVAC Unit at Allen Central Fire
Station with New System Controls and Integration from AireDynamics in the Amount of
$122,481 and Establish a Project Budget of $127,000.

11. Motion to Accept the Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Sedlacek and a second by Councilmember
Obermeyer, the Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to accept the 2013-2014
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report The motion carried.

13. Items of Interest. [Council announcements regarding local civic and charitable events, meetings
fundraisers, and awards.]
• The Allen Heritage Guild is hosting a dinner on Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Allen Senior
Recreation Center.
• The Allen Special Olympics "Special Angels Among Us" Banquet is March 21, 2015, at the
Courtyard by Marriott.
• Council wished a happy birthday to Andy Herald, Evan Kizer, and Ryan Kizer.
• Council recognized Boy Scouts from Troops 334 and 594 in attendance as a requirement for a
merit badges
• The Allen Event Center is hosting two of the Arena Soccer World Cup games on March 21, 2015,
Executive Session
The Executive Session was not held
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Herald and a second by Councilmember Brooks, the
Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting of the
Allen City Council at 7'44 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. The motion carried.
