Mayor V.B. Watson, Aldermen R.J. McClure, Fred Day, J.C. Hefner, B.H.
Popplewell, and Roy A. Hefner were present. None absent.
Motion by Fred Day to try and trade the G-E cooler for a water
cooler as no one seems to be satisfied with the G-E for this office.
motion sec by Roy Hefner, (5) five for none against.
Motion by R.J. McClure to give the MAYOR & Secy. the authority to
go ahead and sign the application PAPERS for the Government Loan on the
SEWAGE SYSTEM. Motion sec. by B.H. Popplewell, (5) five for / none against.
Motion by B.H. Popplewell that we call on the Grand Jury for assistance
with some of the problems. Motion sec by Fred Day, (3) three
