Special Meeting
May 14, 1981
Members Present: David Morgan, Ron Workman, Helen
Johnson, and Wendell Housley.
I. The meeting was called to order by David Morgan.
II. A report was made to the Board by Ron Fix on the
development of Reed, Rolling Hills, and Walden
Parks. The Board made the following recommenda-
tion:
It is recommended that plans for Rolling
Hills Park, Walden Park, and Reed Park
be approved as presented by City Engineer,
Ron Fix, and that approval be granted to
release these projects for bids as soon
as the Parks and Wildlife Department approval
be obtained.
III. A motion was made by Ron Workman and Second by
Helen Johnson to send the following recommendation
to the City Council concerning Ford Park:
Attention is directed to the fact that
the Parks and Wildlife Department grant
requires that the appraisals for the Ford
Park site be obtained within nine (9) months
of the date of the grant. After the appraisal
has been approved, the acquisition shall be
completed and reimbursement shall be filed
with the Department no later than twelve
months. The date of the grant was March
25, 1981. It is recommended that the City
Council direct the City Manager to proceed
iimmediately with this acquisition.
IV. Discussion of the By -Laws was tabled until the
regular meeting May 28, 1981.
Motion by Helen Johnson to adjourn. Second by
Ron Workman. Motion Carried 5 Yes 0 No.
