Regular Meeting

Workman, Helen Johnson, Jerry Owen
I. Meeting was called to order by Wendell Housley.
II. The minutes from the June 26, 1981 meeting were
approved as read. 5 Yes 0 No.
III. A Special Session for August 6, 1981 at 7:30 P.M.
at the Public Library was set to begin work on the
Policies, Rules, and Regulation manual.
IV. Report from the Director of P.A.R.D..
A. The Board was given the plot and cost figures
for using the Forbes property as soccer fields.
The Board was also given the on -hand inspection
of the property. After the Board had reviewed
the site and the information on the site, the
Board made the following recommendation:
The Parks and Recreation Board recommends
the City Council enter into an agreement
with Chuck Forbes for the use of the land
surveyed for temporary soccer fields. The
fields are located north of Bethany Road and
south of the T.P. & L. powerlines. The cost
of the agreement and developement should be
held to a minimum. The use of the land will
allow the city fields time to be developed.
Motion was made by David Morgan, Second by
Ron Workman. Motion carried. 5 Yes 0 No.

Second by Jerry Owen. Motion Passed. 5 Yes 0 No.
