Regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Allen, Allen Texas
Present, Mayor V.B. Watson, Aldermen J.C. Hefner, B.H. Popplewell,
Fred Day, R.J. McClure, and Roy A. Hefner.
Mr. Earl Young was in the meeting to find out what the Town would
do about graveling the Street & running the water line, from south
3rd south into the YOUNG ADDITION. Motion was made up Fred Day to
pipe the WATER for Mr. Young, Sec. by J.C. Hefner. No objections
voiced.
Mr. Moss who is with Collum Construction Company and Judge
George was also present. Mr. Moss said, "If the water lines they
had laid for Mr. George were not all right, that he would fix the
lines." Mr. George suggested that we read the meter and send him
the bill, as a matter of straightening out the testing of the water
lines. Mr. George also said he had sold ten of thirty-seven lots,
and would fix the papers for a petition to annex his property to the
Town of Allen, the petition will plot the whole acreage.
