1. Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present.
With a quorum of the members present, the TRIAD Meeting was called to order by Mayor Terrell,
President Montgomery and Immediate Past Chair Hawkins at 6:18 p.m. on Monday, October 29,2018,
in the Allen High School Library located at 300 Rivercrest Boulevard, Allen,Texas 75002.
2. State of Allen Luncheon—February 7,2019.
Dr. Niven provided an update on the State of Allen luncheon scheduled on February 7, 2019. The
event will feature presentations by the Collin College,Allen ISD and City of Allen.

3. Strategic Plan Highlights.
Dr. Niven reviewed the Allen ISD's Strategic Plan. As part of the highlights, Ms. Wilhelm and Mr.
Pitcock provided an update on the progress of the STEAM Center construction.
4. Update of Traffic Improvement Projects (Lowery Center, Jupiter & Main, Bethany
Intersections,Pebblebrook,Stacy Road).
Mr. Flanigan provided an update on traffic improvements recently completed that impact area schools
within the District. He also provided an update on several projects of community interest.
5. Update on Parks Projects(Spirit Park,West Side Recreation Center).
Mr. Dentler provided an update on Spirit Park. He also provided an update on the future West Side
Recreation Center project.
6. Legislative Agendas.
Mr. Hawley and Mr. Robinson provided an update on legislative topics that may impact the City and
District as part of the 86`'Legislative Session.
7. Update on School Resource Officer(SRO) Program.
Mr. Pitcock and Chief Harvey provided an update on the SRO program within the District.
8. Update from the Allen-Fairview Chamber of Commerce.
First Chair-Elect Patrick provided an update on Chamber activities and events.
9. Items of Interest. [Announcements Regarding Local Civic and Charitable Events, Meetings,
Fundraisers and Awards]

Adjournment.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Brooks and a second by Councilmember Clemencich,
the Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the TRIAD Meeting at
8:37 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018. The motion carried.
