Allen Municipal Annex PRESENT: Bob Outman, Ron Workman, Helen Johnson CITY STAFF: Mark Thornton I. Ron Workman called the meeting to order at 7:45 P.M. II. Discuss and Approve a Procedural Outline for the Develop- ment of a Land Acquisition Policy Director, Mark Thornton presented an outline which would give the board direction in the development of a land acquisition policy for park and recreation areas. After discussion of each item on the outline, Chairman, Ron Workman requested the addition of II. d........ Procedures in Relation to Planning and Zoning Process ..... (see attached outline). [ MOTION: Upon a motion made by Bob Outman and seconded by ■ Helen Johnson, the board voted to accept the pro- posed procedural outline for the development of a land acquisition policy for the City of Allen. Vote: 3 for, 0 opposed. III. Set a Date for Joint Meeting with the Planning and Zoning Commission to discuss the Rowlett Creek Request for Proposal Director, Mark Thornton informed the board of the Planning and Zoning commission meeting at which the Rowlett Creek Corridor RFP was presented. The planned joint workshop was possible on September 19, 1983 if the Parks Board agreed. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Bob Outman and seconded by Helen Johnson, the board voted to hold a special called joint workshop on September 19 with the Planning and Zoning Commission. Vote: 3 for, 0 opposed. There being no further business MOTION: Upon a motion made by Helen Johnson and seconded by Bob Outman, the board voted to adjourn. Vote: 3 for, 0 opposed.
