The following citizens, having been appointed on the Allen Planning and Zoning
Commission, met with the Mayor and City Council.
Bill LaGone, J.L Haggard, Howard D Snider, Elo E. Zinke, Ken Posey Jr.
During this meeting the Commission was presented a preliminary petition
by Mr. Jack Hedgcoke for a zoning change on a lot located at the corner
of West Ave. E and N. Second Street. The mailing of papers necessary for the
handling of this request was to be taken care of by the Ciy Clerk. The hearing
date was set for Jan. 16, 1969.
Following the meeting with the Mayor and Council, the Commission continued
in session to discuss the duties, responsibilities, and power of the commission
and to elect officers.
