1. Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present.
With a quorum of the Councilmembers present, the Special Called Meeting of the Allen City Council
was called to order by Mayor Terrell at 6:28 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018, in the 3`d Floor
Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas.
2. Conduct Interviews with Executive Search Firms for the Selection of a City Manager.
3. Authorize Negotiations and a Contract with an Executive Search Firm to Assist the City Council
in the Selection of a City Manager.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Brooks and a second by Councilmember Sedlacek,
the Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to authorize Mayor Terrell and Mayor
Pro Tem Caplinger to negotiate and execute a contract with Ralph Andersen and Associates to
assist the City Council in the selection of a City Manager. The motion carried.
4. Adjourn.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Clemencich and a second by Councilmember Brooks,
the Council voted seven(7)for and none(0)opposed to adjourn the Special Called Meeting of
the Allen City Council at 9:14 p.m. on Monday, December 17,2018. The motion carried.
