A Public Hearing was held at the request of Inter Systems Corporation to change
zoning from TR (Local wetail) to R32 (Apartments) on four (4) acres located at
Hwy. 5 and High Meadow Drive, and known as Tract 1 L Abstract No 978 of the
Levis Wetzel survey
Pete rhantilis. one of the owners of the tract spoke for Tnter Systems Corpo-
ration and opened the floor for questions about the property and its intended
use for apartments
A petition containing approximately four hundred (400) signatures from neigh-
boring property owners pretesting the zoning change was presented
Motion was made by Charles Akin to deny the zoning change based on the fact
that the change was nit in keeping with the Master Plan, increased congestion
of streets from traffic and privacy of adjacent property owners Second to
motion by Carol Henry Motion carried 6 for 0 against
Motion was made by Jim Pendleton to call emergency meeting f>r 1:00 nclock P.M.
April 12 1980 to consider final plat approval for Brookshire/role,m addition
to Cottonwood Creek Shopping Center Second to motion by Joe Moseley Motion
carried 6 for 0 against
The f�ll,,wing recommendations were made by the majority vote of the P &Z to
establish original zDning districts to recently annexed properties under ordi-
nance No. 284
