The regular meeting of the Allen Planning &
Zoning Commission was called to order by Chairman
Pendleton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 1982, at
Rountree Elementary School, 800 E. Main Street.
Election of Planning and Zoning
Commission Officers (Agenda Item II)
Chairman Pendleton opened the floor for nominations
for the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Commissioner Koch nominated Commissioner Pendleton.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Commissioner Glass and second
by Commissioner Koch, the Commission voted six
(6) for and none (0) opposed that the nomin-
ations cease. The motion carried.
Chairman Pendleton polled votes of the Commissioners,
Commissioner Pendleton received five (5) votes with
one (1) abstaining vote from Commissioner Pendleton.
Chairman Pendleton advised that he had received a
majority of the votes and was reappointed as the Chairman
of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Chairman Pendleton opened the floor for nominations
to Vice Chairman on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Commissioner Koch nominated Commissioner Wolfe.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Commissioner Larsen and second
by Commissioner Glass, the Commission voted
six (6) for and none (0) opposed that the
nominations cease. The motion carried.
Chairman Pendleton polled votes of the Commissioners,
Commissioner Wolfe received all six (6) votes.
Chairman Pendleton advised that Commissioner Wolfe,
by receiving a majority of the votes cast, was the Vice
Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Chairman Pendleton opened the floor for nominations
to Secretary on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Commissioner Decatur nominated Commissioner Koch.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Commissioner Glass and second
by Commissioner Koch, the Commission voted
six (6) for and none (0) opposed that the
nominations cease. The motion carried.
Chairman Pendleton polled votes of the Commissioners,
Commissioner Koch received all six (6) votes.
Chairman Pendleton advised that Commissioner Koch,
by receiving a majority of the votes cast, was the
Secretary of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Approval of Minutes:
June 24, 1982, Regular Meeting (Agenda Item III)
MOTION: Upon a motion by Commissioner Koch and second
by Commissioner Decatur, the Commission voted
six (6) for and none (0) opposed to approve
the minutes of June 24, 1982, as presented.
The motion carried.
General Discussion
There was some discussion on the Commission's Rules
and Regulations.
There was some discussion on the budget items as
requested by the Commission.

MOTION: Upon a motion by Commissioner Decatur and
second by Commissioner Koch, the Commission

adjourn the Regular Meeting of the Allen
Planning and Zoning Commission at 7:50 p.m.
The motion carried.
