The Workshop Session of the Allen Planning and Zoning Commission was
called to order by Secretary Koch at 7:30 p.m. at the Allen Municipal Annex,
61 Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
Bob Harper, Willard Baker, John Green and their engineer presented the
request to the Commission. They presented the land use plan, summary of
the request in regards to acreage and lot coverage, and the proposed thor-
oughfare plan.
Concerns of the Commission were the alignment of proposed Alma Road
or a four lane road to be constructed directly in the middle of the request.
What effect this would have on the requested zoning of Shopping Center at
the corners of this road. Also, they suggested that a traffic analysis
of the proposed area be constructed to present a better look at the pro-
posed impact on 2170 and Rowlett Road.

MOTION: Upon a motion by Commissioner Andrew and second by Commissioner
Armand, the Commission voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed to
recess the workshop at 10:00 p.m. The motion carried.
