Min - Planning and Zoning Commission - 1989 - 08/24 - RegularALLEN PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 24, 1989 ATTENDANCE: Commission Members Present: Wayne Armand, Chairman Eileen Karlsruher, Vice -Chairman Harold Biggs, Secretary Melissa Owen Douglas Gallagher John Garcia Commission Members Absent: Kenneth Fulk City Staff Present: Tom Keener, Development Coordinator Sally Leeper, Secretary 1 CALL TO ORDER: The Allen Planning & Zoning Commission was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairman Armand at the Allen Municipal Annex, City Council Chambers, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas. Approve Minutes August 10, 1989 (Agenda Item II) Chairman Armand read the agenda item into the record as follows: "Approve minutes of August 10, 1989, Regular meeting." MOTION: Upon a motion by by Commissioner Karlsruher and a second by Commissioner Owen, the Commission voted 6 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the minutes of August 10, 1989, as presented. C ALLEN PLANNING & ZONING COWUSSION AUGUST 24, 1999 PAGE 2 Final Plat St. Jude Catholic Mission Addition (Agenda Item III) Chairman Armand read the agenda item into the record as follows: "Final Plat - Consider replat for St. Jude Catholic Mission Addition, a tract of land situated in the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, in the Henry Wetsel Survey, Abstract No. 1026, and being a called 10.0014 acre tract of land described in a deed from Raldon Land Corporation to Thomas Tschoepe, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas as recorded in Volume 912, Page 447 of the Collin County Deed Records, and also being all of the St. Jude Catholic Mission Addition, an addition to the City of Allen as recorded in Volume C, Page 711 of the Collin County Map Records; further described as being located west of S.H. 5 and north of Exchange Parkway." Mr. Keener presented the plat to the Commission. He stated that the property is being replatted in order to reconfigure the fire lane as required by the Fire Marshal. The Fire Marshal has approved this plat. MOTION: Upon a motion by Commissioner Garcia and a second by Commissioner Gallagher, the Commission voted 6 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the plat for St. Jude's Catholic Mission. The Commission requested Mr. Keener to review the original site plan for this property.
