Call to Order -
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visitor's
Bureau Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Musa at 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday,November 10,2021,in
the Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway,Allen,Texas 75013.
1. Election of Officers.
Chair Musa called for nominations from the Board for the purpose of electing officers.
The following slate of officers was presented:
Karen Musa for the position of Chair.
Crystella Mclvor for the position of Vice-Chair.
Kira Boone for the position of Secretary.
With no other nominations offered, Chair Musa closed the call for nominations. Karen Musa was
elected for the position of Chair, Crystella Mclvor was elected for the position of Vice-Chair and Kira
Boone was elected for the position of Secretary by a vote of five (5) for and none (0) opposed. The
motion carried.
2. Approve Minutes of the September 15,2021,Regular Meeting.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Board Member Arnold and a second by Board Member Lakes, the
Board voted five(5)for and none(0)opposed to approve the minutes of September 15,2021,
Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
3. Update on Current-Market Conditions of the Allen Hotel Industry.
Ms. Cromwell provided an update on market conditions stating Allen and DFW markets continue to
trend favorably.

111 4. FY2020-2021 Annual Marketing Results.
CVB Director Cromwell presented the 2021 marketing results for CVB.
5. Present Highlights of the FY2021-2022 Budget.
Ms. Cromwell presented highlights of the CVB annual budget.

Chair Musa adjourned the Regular Meeting of the Allen Convention and Visit's Bureau Advisory Board at
9:07 a.m. on Wednesday,November 10,2021. •
